Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) for Texas license plates. This app will read Texan license plates on your iPhone or iPad.
Point the camera at a license plate and click read and the app will read the license plate. The app will compare the license plate to a list of up to 3000 license plates on your iPhone. No internet connection is needed.
You can add decoded plates to the list or edit the list file (PlateList.csv) manually using iTunes file-sharing.
The application has an AUTO mode where it will automatically grab images at 1sec intervals (on 6s (and above) or iPad) and compare any plates found to its list of plates in PlateList.csv. If the plate is found the number is highlighted.
